Target Type

This page displays the Target Types installed with the platform.

To access this page:

  1. Select dspMigrate in the Navigation pane.
  2. Select Design in the Context bar.
  3. Select Configuration > Target Type in the Navigation pane.

Field

Description

TARGET TYPE

Displays the Target Type. The platform is delivered with the following types that cannot be edited or deleted.

  • Natural – A field that exists in the Target system.
  • Utility – A field that does not exist in the target system, but is used to register rules and reports to in Transform. Fields of this type should be captured in Target Design but should not be mapped and will not display in Map. A utility field is added to the Target table to be used by AutoGen.

DESCRIPTION

Displays a platform-supplied description of the Target type.

DSP SUPPLIED

If checked, this content is installed with the platform and cannot be edited.

If unchecked, the content was added by a user or process.

NOTE: This is a display-only check box. It cannot be updated.
