Set the Connection to Information Steward Repository

NOTE: The values to enter while following these instructions depend where the Information Steward repository is stored. Consult the person who installed or configured IS for this information.

To access most of this information:

  1. Log in to the CMC.
  2. Select Applications.
  3. Double-click Information Steward.
  4. Select Configure Repository.
  5. The database details for the IS repository display.

To set up the data source and connection information in the DSP®:

  1. Select Admin > Data Sources in the Navigation pane.

  2. Click Add.

    View the field descriptions for the Data Sources page

  3. Enter ISSAP in DATA SOURCE NAME field.
  4. Select the data source type from DATA SOURCE TYPE list box.
  5. Click Save; Vertical View displays.
  6. Enter the IP address\server name for IS in the Server Address field.
  7. Enter the database name ISRepository in the DATABASE field.
  8. Enter the user name and password to log in to IS.
  9. Click Save.
