Set Up Security for Common

To set up security:

  1. Create User Accounts in System Administration
  2. Create Security Roles (performed by an Administrator)
  3. Assign a User to a Security Role in Common
  4. Assign WebApp Groups to Security Role (performed by an Administrator)
  5. Establish User-Specific Security Definitions by adding the data source to be used in Common as a key to the Analyze DataSources description.(performed by an Administrator)

NOTE:  Once the keys are added, the data sources are listed under the Analyze menu to be traced, profiled, or scanned for duplicate data.
