View Dashboard in Collect

Data displays on the dashboard depending on the number of days set in the Job Metrics Retention field in Collect parameters (Common > Configuration > Modules > Parameters – Collect > General Settings tab).

Weekly metrics cover a calendar week (Sunday to Saturday) and monthly metrics cover a calendar month.

NOTE: Click a label in a chart’s legend to hide or show that label’s section in the chart.

NOTE: When multiple charts display on a dashboard, charts can be resized to view a layout more clearly. Drag the bar to the bottom right or upper left of a chart to change its display size.

If a chart is 3D, a 3D Controls icon is available to adjust the chart angles.

Target Daily Summary

This chart displays the duration of time in seconds it took to refresh all active tables from all registered data sources into a target database for each day. Hover a cursor over a data point and the date, target name and number of seconds display .On  this chart, a user can view daily fluctuations in duration of table refreshes that may be caused by changes in system resources, tables being added or deleted from the refresh, or other factors

Targets are destination databases (registered as data sources in the Stewardship Tier) where tables are refreshed with source data using Collect.

Each target is represented as a separate line on the chart.

To access the chart in Collect, click Summary Dashboard in the Navigation pane.

Target Weekly Summary

This chart displays the duration of time in seconds it took to refresh all active tables from all registered data sources for a target database for each week. Hover a cursor over a data point and the week, target name and number of seconds display. On this chart, a user can view weekly fluctuations in duration of table refreshes that may be caused by changes in system resources, tables being added or deleted from the refresh, or other factors

The number in the x-axis is the number of the week in the year. For example, 201401 is the first week of the year.

Targets are destination databases (registered as data sources in the Stewardship Tier) where tables are refreshed with source data using Collect.

Each target is represented as a separate line on the chart.

Target Monthly Summary

This chart displays the duration of time in seconds it took to refresh all active tables from all registered data sources for a target database for each month. On this chart, a user can view monthly fluctuations in duration of table refreshes that may be caused by changes in system resources, tables being added or deleted from the refresh, or other factors

Hover a cursor over a data point and the month, target name and number of seconds display.

Targets are destination databases (registered as data sources in the Stewardship Tier) where tables are refreshed with source data using Collect.

To access the chart in Collect, click Summary Dashboard > Monthly in the Navigation pane.

Target Table Status

This chart displays the number of active tables by refresh status for each target.

Targets are destination databases (registered as data sources in the Stewardship Tier) where tables are refreshed with source data using Collect. Source data can also be refreshed into a source database (.sdb), so an sdb displays as a target in the x axis on this chart as well. 

Status includes:

  • Error tables: Tables that failed to refresh.
  • Success Tables: Tables that have been refreshed and downloaded to the target successfully.
  • Not downloaded tables: Tables that have not yet been refreshed.
  • Refreshing tables: Tables that are currently refreshing.

Click a bar to drill down to the Targets page to view details about the selected target and Target Source and to access the Tables page for the Target Source to refresh tables.

Target Source Weekly Metric Chart

This chart displays the number of records in the selected source that were refreshed during a week.

  1. Select Targets in the Navigation pane.

Target Source Daily Metric Chart

This chart displays the number of records in the selected source that were refreshed each day.
