Use this page to:

To access this page:

  1. Select Common > Analyze in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Profile icon for a data source.

Field

Description

Process Information

Profile Process Started On

Displays the date when the profile process started.

Profile Duration

Displays how long it took the data source to be profiled.

Tables

Click to open the Table (Results) page to view table details and to activate/inactivate tables for profiling.

The count on the icon is the number of tables profiled for the data source.

Actions

Execute

Click to manually profile the data source. Profiling may take several hours, depending on the size of the data source.

Profile TT* Tables Only

Click to profile only tables that are prefixed with "tt" within the data source. This button is enabled if tt tables exist in the data source; it is disabled if no tt tables exist in the data source. Profiling may take several hours, depending on the size of the data source.

Reset

Click to restart a running profile; use when an error occurs and profiling needs to stop.
