Wave Load Cycles

Use this page to Assign a Load Cycle to a Wave.

To access this page:

  1. Click Waves in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Load Cycles icon for a wave.

Field

Description

LOAD CYCLE

Displays the name of the load cycle. The following load cycles are delivered with the application:

  • Go-Live—The migration cycle that takes the project live
  • Mock 1—The first migration cycle
  • Mock 2—The second migration cycle
  • Mock 3—The third migration cycle
  • SIT—System Integration Testing cycle
  • UAT—User Acceptance Testing cycle

INSTANCE

Displays the Stewardship Tier instance associated with this load cycle, used in the Migration-related dashboards to display results from the correct Stewardship Tier instance.

The options available in this list box are taken from the Instances page in System Administration. The default value used in this list box is set in the Instance field on the Site Parameters tab on the Parameters page in System Administration.

PLANNED STARTED DATE

The date on which the section of the project delegated to the load cycle is planned to start.

PLANNED END DATE

The date on which the section of the project delegated to the load cycle is planned to end.

ACTUAL START DATE

The date on which the section of the project designated by the load cycle actually starts.

ACTUAL END DATE

The date on which the section of the project designated by the load cycle actually ends.

Planning Groups

Click to open the Wave Load Cycle Planning Groups page to Add Planning Groups to Wave Load Cycles.

Objects

Click to open the Wave Load Cycle Planning Group Objects page to Exclude Planning Group Objects from Wave Load Cycles.

Execution Plan

Click to open the Load Cycle Execution Plan page to configure an execution plan based on the planning data assigned to the Load Cycle and planning and execution data assigned to associated objects.

Delete

Click to delete a load cycle assignment from a wave.
