Edit an Active Template with an External Request Scenario that uses an Excel-initiated Request

When a template with an external request scenario that uses an Excel-initiated request is activated or is in Developer mode, updates to external request scenario settings are restricted.

The following table details the edits allowed.

  • Can be viewed but not edited
  • No new external request scenarios can be added
  • No new external request scenarios can be added
  • The Finish First Role check box can be edited on the Vertical View on the Advanced tab

NOTE: No other fields or settings can be edited on the Vertical View Advanced tab or the Horizontal View.

  • Fields on the General tab on the Vertical View can be edited

Template (External Request Scenario Email Address)

Can be viewed but not edited

New email addresses can be added to the scenario on the Template (External Request Scenario Email Address) page

Template External Request Scenario Column)

Can be viewed but not edited

Can be viewed but not edited

Template Event Rule)

Custom rules can be added to templates that use external request scenarios to create Excel –initiated requests
