Task Import Staging

To access this page:

  1. Select Master Data Management > Configuration > Category Import View Configuration in the Navigation pane.
  2. Select a category.
  3. Click the Import Tasks icon.

Description

Import

Click to import the task view.

NOTE: Optional fields for task import are comments and instructions. If included in the view they are imported. If comments and instructions are different in the view and the WebApp, the WebApp is updated.

NOTE: Import only adds or updates tasks. Existing tasks in the WebApp are not deleted.

Activate

Click to enable the ACTIVE check box for selected tasks. Active tasks are imported when the Import icon is clicked.

Deactivate

Click to disable the ACTIVE check box for selected tasks.

Deactivated tasks are not imported.

ACTION

Displays the action that takes place when the task is imported.

NOTE: The task records in the view are compared to the task records in the WebApp. If the Action field is Change, the task exists in the WebApp, and if the task in the view differs from the task in the WebApp, the WebApp is updated on import. If the Action field is New Task, the task is not in the WebApp.

CATEGORY ID

Displays the category ID for which the task view is being imported.

TASK ID

Displays the task ID in the view.

TYPE

Displays the task type being imported.

ACTIVE

If enabled, the task is imported. If disabled, the task is not imported.
