Package - Object Comparison - Per Database
Use this page to:
- Click Packages in the Navigation pane.
- Click the Packages icon for a Package Group.

Click the SQL Objects icon for a Package.
OR
- Click Approval in the Navigation pane.
- Click the View Package icon for a package group approval request.
- Click the SQL Object icon for a Package.

Description |
Clear |
Click to clear queued items for selected database. Hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple databases. NOTE: This button is disabled for protected databases. |
DATABASE |
Displays the database that stores the SQL objects for the package. |
PROTECTED |
If checked, the databases and SQL objects are not available to be transported. If unchecked, the databases and SQL objects are available to be transported. NOTE: System supplied databases are protected and cannot be unprotected. Protected databases are always excluded from the data transport, which prevents SQL objects from being overwritten. |
NOT IN DEST |
Click to open the Package - Object Comparison page, filtered down to databases, and active SQL objects and their dependencies that exist on the host server, but not on the destination server. The count on the link displays the number of SQL objects that meet this criteria. |
DIFFERENT |
Click to open the Package - Object Comparison page, filtered down to the database, and active SQL objects and their dependencies that exist on both the host and the destination servers, but have different values for columns that are being compared. The count on the link displays the number of SQL objects that meet this criteria. |
SAME |
Click to open the Package - Object Comparison page, filtered down to the database, and active SQL objects and their dependencies that exist on the host and the destination servers, and there are no differences between the SQL objects that are being compared. The count on the link displays the number of SQL objects that meet this criteria. NOTE: Primary keys are excluded from this page. These records are ignored during the transport. |
QUEUE |
Click to open the Package - Object Comparison page, filtered down to the database, and active SQL objects that have been selected to be transported to the destination server. The count on the link displays the number of SQL objects that meet this criteria. |
ALL |
Click to open the Package - Object Comparison page to view all database and corresponding SQL objects. The count on the link displays the total number of SQL objects. From the Package - Object Comparison page decisions can be made regarding whether to include/exclude objects for transport or to remove objects that no longer exist on the host system. |
Clear All Queued |
Click to clear all SQL objects marked as "Queue" for the selected database. |
Queue Diff |
Click to add all the differences (Not In Dest and Different) to the queue to be transported. |
Queue All |
Click to add all the records (Not In Dest, Different and Same) to the queue to be transported. NOTE: Views that refer to dgSAP* databases are excluded and must be manually queued. Refer to Queue SQL Objects to be Transported for more information. |
