Use this page to Create Catalogs.

To access this page, select Admin > Translations > Catalogs in the Navigation pane.   

Field

Description

NAME

Displays the name of the catalog. 

Phrases

Click to view the Catalog Phrases page, which displays the translatable phrases.

Use this page to:

Name

Displays the name of the catalog.

Description

Displays the description of the catalog.

Read Only

If checked, phrases cannot be added to, updated or deleted from the catalog. The Upload a File feature cannot be used.

If unchecked, phrases can be added to, updated or deleted from the catalog.

File Location

Displays the following icons:

  • Upload a File — Click to upload an XML file containing the catalog phrases to be imported, and click the Import button.  
  • Download a File — Click the Export button, then click the Download a File icon to download the XML file containing the catalog phrases.

NOTE: Refer to Import and Export Phrase Files for more information about this feature.

Import

Click to remove all phrases, translations and dynamic help from the catalog and replace them with the contents of the uploaded XML file.

Export

Click to export the phrases, translations and dynamic help from the catalog to an XML file.

Clear

Click to clear all phrases, translations and dynamic help from the catalog.
