Add a System Type Group

System Type groups are logical groupings of tables, such as Customer or Vendor. Use system Type groups for source database systems where a large number of tables must be created and downloaded.

Create these groups using one of these methods: 

1. Create System Type groups from the Fetch process.
2. Create System Type groups from source tables.
3. Create system Type groups manually in Common.

To manually add System Type groups:

1. Click Common > System Types in Navigation pane.
2. Click Groups icon for System Type.

3. Click Add.

   View the field descriptions for the System Types Groups page

4. Enter name of table group in GROUP field.
5. Enter a brief description of group in DESCRIPTION field.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Tables icon for Group.

8. Click Add.

   View the field descriptions for the System Types Groups Tables page

9. Select name of table within the group from SYSTEM TYPE TABLE ID list box.
10. Click Save.
