Report Groups

Use this page to Create Report Groups.

To access this page:

  1. Select Admin > WebApps in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click Pages for a WebApp.
  3. Click Vertical View for a dynamic or report page type.
  4. Either

    For a dynamic page type, click the Report Options tab, and then click the Report Groups icon.

    Or

    For a report page type, click the Report Groups icon.

Field

Description

PRIORITY

This field is not used.

NAME

Displays the name of the report group.

TITLE

Displays the title of the report group.

NOTE: Title is not a required field. The Title displays above each occurrence of the group in the report.

VIEW

Displays the view used by the report group.

PAGE BREAK BEFORE

If checked, a page break occurs before the group.

NOTE: Page breaks force a break either before or after a given report group. For example, to force each customer onto its own page, click Page Break Before check box for the Customer group.

PAGE BREAK AFTER

If checked, a page break occurs after the group.

NOTE: Page breaks force a break either before or after a given report group. For example, to force each customer onto its own page, click Page Break Before check box for the Customer group.

HIDE EMPTY FIELDS

If checked, empty fields are not displayed on the report.

NOTE: Fields that are null or contain zero length strings are hidden. Checking this check box can cut down report space. This option only applies to report groups that use vertical view.

Columns

Click to open the Report Group Columns page to add columns to the report group. A report group must have at least one column.

REPORT VIEW

Displays the report view used to generate the report.
