Security Role Pages

Use this page to view pages added to a security role.

To access this page in System Admin:

  1. Select Security > Security Management > Security Roles in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Pages icon for a NAME.

OR

  1. Select Admin > Security > Users in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Roles icon.
  3. Click the Security Role icon for a user role.
  4. Click the Pages icon.

NOTE: If accessed through the User Roles page, users cannot add, edit or delete security roles on this page.

Field

Description

WEB APP ID

Displays the Web App that contains the page the security role can access.

PAGE DESCRIPTION

Displays the name of the page the security role can access.

PAGE TYPE

Displays one of the following page types:

  • Chart—Tabular or graphical representation of data.
  • Dashboard—Collection of charts on a single page.
  • Dynamic—Interactive grid-based representation of data.
  • HeaderDetail—Parent-Child representation of relationship data.
  • Report—Read only representation of grid data.
  • Service—Non-interactive page used to perform events on a specified time interval.
  • Static—Custom resource to load as page content

TABLE

Displays the table underlying the security role page.

ALLOW SELECT

If checked, users who have this security role can view the page and data on the page. Users may download the data, if download is supported in the page properties and WebApp Group.

ALLOW INSERT

If checked, user has permission to add records on this page.

ALLOW UPDATE

If checked, user has permission to update records on this page.

ALLOW DELETE

If checked, user has permission to delete records on this page.
