Information Type

Use this page to Add Custom Information Types.

To access this page, select Common > Configuration > Modules > Collect > Information Type in the Navigation pane.

Description

INFORMATION TYPE

Display the name of the Stewardship Tier delivered information type (Personal, Restricted or Public) or the custom information type.

RETENTION PERIOD WARNING

If checked, a retention expiration date must be added to an object's Data Protection settings if a data classification using this information type is used.

SYSTEM SUPPLIED

If checked, this content is installed with the Stewardship Tier and cannot be edited.

If unchecked, the content was added by a user or process.

NOTE: This is a display-only check box. It cannot be updated.
