Create an SAP Data Services Job Template

A Template Administrator can configure an SAP Data Services Job template by selecting a job name used while posting request records.

NOTE: For general information about templates, refer to Create a Basic Template. For general information about the SAP Data Services Job template, refer to Post Data Using an SAP Data Services Job Overview.

To create an SAP Data Services Job template in Integrate:

1. Select Categories in the Navigation pane.
2. Click the Templates icon for a category.

3. Click Add.

   View the field descriptions for the Template page

4. Enter a unique name for the template in the TEMPLATE NAME field.
5. Enter a brief description of the template in the DESCRIPTION field.
6. Select an SAP Data Services Job from the TYPE list box.

7. Select the connection to use when gathering metadata for the template from the CONNECTION ID list box.

   NOTE: The connection ID is set up in Common. Refer to Establish a Connection to a Target System for more information.

8. Click Save; Vertical View displays.

9. Select the job name in the Data Services Job Name list box.

   NOTE: This job is stored in the Data Services Repository associated with the connection ID.  

10. Click Save.

Continue with Activate the Template.
