Package Groups - Approval

Description

Displays the package group that is pending approval or rejection.

Displays the user ID (an approver) who last updated the package approval request.

Displays the date and time the package approval request was last updated.

Displays the change or defect management number associated with the approval request. This field must be populated before the request can be approved.

If checked, the package group pending approval has been successfully tested in a development environment.

If unchecked, the package group pending approval has not been tested yet.

NOTE: This field is manually updated by an approver and must be checked before the Package Group can be approved.

Displays the status of the package approval. Options are:

• Awaiting Approval—approvers have been notified that there is a package group approval request pending. The package group cannot be transported until the request is approved.

• Approved—the package group request has been approved and is available to be transported.

• Rejected—the package group request has been rejected. The user must work with the approver to fix the package group and resubmit for approval.

Click to open the Packages page, which allows an approver to easily review the package group details before approving or rejecting the request.

Click to approve the request. Once approved, the package group can be transported.

Click to reject the request. A reject note should be added to explain why the Package Group has been rejected.

Displays any notes the approver made explaining why the package was rejected.

Click to open the Package - Approval Documentation page to view, upload or download any documentation relevant to the package group approval request.

Click to mark the approval request as done. This step is performed after the approval request is either approved or rejected. The request is moved from the Package Groups - Approval page to the Package Groups - Approval (History) page to be referenced later, if need be.
