User Security Definition Summary

Use this page to View a User’s Assigned Security Definitions.

To access this page:

  1. Select Admin > Security > Users in the Navigation pane.

  2. Click the Security Definitions icon.

Field

Description

SECURITY DEFINITION NAME

Displays name of the security definition.

ROLE NAME

Displays the name of the security role associated with the security definition that the user is assigned to.

NOTE: If this field is blank, a user-specific security definition was added for this user. Refer to Establish User-Specific Security Definitions.

KEY NAME

Displays name of the database key associated with the security definition, used to restrict user access.

VALUE

Displays the value of the key.

FRIENDLY NAME

Displays the user-friendly alias for the key.
