Copy a System Type Table

Once a table is added to a System Type, it can be copied to make another table. Any fields and lookup table fields are also copied to the new table.

Fields and lookup table fields can also be copied to an existing table. If the table name already exists, any fields or lookup table fields that do not exist for the table are added. No tables are updated or deleted.

To copy a System Type table:

  1. Click Common > System Types in Navigation pane.
  2. Click Tables icon for a System Type.
  3. Click Vertical View icon for the TABLE NAME.
  4. Click the Copy tab.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Enter the new table name in Copy To Table Name field.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Copy To Table on Page toolbar; a confirmation message displays.
  9. Click Ok.
