Bulk Contact Staging Area

To access this page:

  1. Select Advanced Data Migration in the Navigation pane, or select Console in the Context bar.
  2. Select Advanced Configuration > Object Contact Configuration in the Navigation pane.

Field

Description

Reset Staging Area

Click to reset the staging area to clear the list of users to be assigned or removed from Objects.

Set As Business User

Click to assign the selected user(s) to a position of Business User.

Business User contacts are used for reporting purposes and automatically receive published reports and Data Services reports for the target in Transform.

Set As Developer

Click to assign the selected user(s) to a position of Developer.

Developers approve mappings on the Mapping Approval page submitted for a Target-Source in Map on the Field Mappings page. Refer to Approve or Reject Mappings for more information.

Bulk User Object Assignment

Click to open the Staged Contacts page to select users to assign to Objects.

CONTACT

Displays the contact name.

POSITION

Displays the contact’s position, either Business User or Developer.

PHONE

Displays the contact's phone number.

EMAIL

Displays the contact's email address.

LOCATION

Displays the contact's work place location.

TIME ZONE

Displays the time zone the contact works in.

COMMENT

Displays user-entered comments about the contact.

SEND WORKFLOW

If checked, the contact will receive an email if a record is added on the Object Decisions page and that record has the SEND WORKFLOW check box enabled.
