Load Cycle Execution Plan

Use this page to View Load Cycle Execution Plans.

To access this page in Console:

  1. Click Waves in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Load Cycle icon for a wave.
  3. Click the Execution Plan icon for a Load Cycle.
Field Description
Update From Template

Click to build the Load Cycle Execution Plan. The execution plan will be created based upon Objects in scope for Load Cycle and their associated Execution Templates configured in Transform. Refer to Configure Object Execution Plan Templates for more information.

Start Load

Click to enter today’s date in the STARTED DATE field.

Complete Load

Click to enter today’s date in the COMPLETED DATE field.

NOTE: Completing the Load will lock the selected records to prevent counts from being overwritten.

Run Count Views

Click to update the number of successfully loaded records in the OPPORTUNITY COUNT field (based upon Opportunity View) and the number of records that failed to load in the DEFECT COUNT field (based upon Error View). Once the Complete Load button is pressed, the counts cannot be edited unless the record is reset.

Reset

Click to reset the record and clear the information recorded in the STARTED DATE, COMPLETED DATE, OPPORTUNITY COUNT and DEFECT COUNT fields.

PRIORITY

Displays the priority in which the object is loaded.

OBJECT

Displays the name of the object in the Load Cycle.

TARGET

Displays the name of the target table associated with the Execution Group Values that are assigned to the Wave Process Area Object.

EXECUTION GROUP

Displays the name of the Execution Group applied to the Wave Process Area Object.

EXECUTION GROUP VALUE

Displays the name of the Execution Group Value assigned to the Wave Process Area Object.

PLANNED DATE

Displays the Planned Date assigned to the object’s Load Cycle.

STARTED DATE

Displays the date that the Load Cycle started loading the records associated with that object’s Execution Group Value.

COMPLETED DATE

Displays the date that the Load Cycle finished loading the records associated with that object’s Execution Group Value.

OPPORTUNITY COUNT

Displays the number of records that successfully loaded. This number comes from the OPPORTUNITY VIEW field configured on the Object Execution Template page in Transform. Click the Run Record Count Views icon to run a record count from the OPPORTUNITY VIEW field configured on the Object Execution Template page in Transform, or manually enter the count.

DEFECT COUNT

Displays the number of records that failed to load. Click the Run Record Count Views icon to run a record count from the ERROR VIEW field configured on the Object Execution Template page in Transform, or manually enter the count.

View Notice Indicator

Displays tool tips that alert users to a failed run for a view or a missing or changed configuration.

After the user clicks the Run Count Views icon these too ltips may display:

  • Views Failed To Run

NOTE: This tooltip displays when there is an error when the views are run.

  • Object Removed From Wave Process Area
  • Target Removed From Wave Process Area Object
  • Execution Group Value Removed From Wave
  • Opportunity And Defect Views Not Configured
  • Defect View Not Configured
  • Opportunity View Not Configured

NOTE: This icon displays the tool tip Opportunity and Defect Views Not Configured after the user clicks the Update From Template icon, but before clicking the Run Count Views icon.
