Set Posting Options at the Category Level
NOTE: Requests that are posted using Group Post and AutoPost use the job queue set at this level. Refer to Post a Request and Auto Post a Request for more information.
A user can update the posting method and job queue and set posting options for the Integrate process used to post requests at the Category level. These options are then used by default for all scenarios in the category added after the posting options are updated.
Some of these options can be overridden at the scenario level and viewed, but not updated, at the request level. Refer to Update Posting Options at the Scenario Level for more information.

To set posting options in MDM:
- Click Design in the Navigation pane.
- Click Vertical View for a category.
- Click the Posting Processes icon.
- Click the Vertical View icon for an integrate process.

Click Edit.
View the field descriptions for the Category Process page’s Vertical View.

Update options as needed.

- Click Save.
To set a job queue for request processing:

Click Design in the Navigation pane.

Click Vertical View for a category.
- Click Edit.

Select the queue name from the Posting Job Queue list box. Options are:

Background Events—Queue for running the standard background processing events

General—Queue for all foreground events by default

Indexing—The general indexing service page

Service Pages—Queue for executing pages defined as Service Pages on the schedule they are assigned
NOTE: Users can also add custom queues, which display in this list box. Refer to Add a Service Queue for more information.

Click Save.
Any scenarios created in the category will have these posting options by default. The posting options for scenarios that already exist in the category are not updated.
