To access this page, select Admin > Security > Users in the Navigation pane.

Description

Create User From

Click to create a copy of the user with identical permissions to the selected user.

Set Password And Notify User

Click to send the “user creation email” to a newly created user that has not logged in; use multi-row selection to send the user creation email to multiple users. This email is sent only the first time. When this icon is clicked for an existing user that has previously logged in, the user receives a “password reset” email. Both emails contain a temporary password and a link to log in to the system. Once the link is clicked, the user is prompted to change the password.

NOTE: The Set Password and Notify User icon is disabled for users with security set through Windows Authentication because a password is not required.

User Role Staging

Click to open the User Role Staging page and add user role assignments to a staging table, either manually or using Excel Integration. Staging user roles allows a user to add multiple user role assignments in one process. Refer to Enable Excel Integration for more information.

USER ID

Displays ID associated with user used to log in to the Stewardship Tier.

NAME

Displays name of user associated with the User ID.

EMAIL ADDRESS

Displays user’s email address. This email address is used for all workflow notifications.

LANGUAGE ID

Displays language used for the user’s session.

Groups

Click to open the User Group List page to add, edit and delete security groups to which the user belongs.

Security Definitions

Click to open the User Security Definition Summary page to view a summary of security definitions assigned to the user.

Roles

Click to open the Role Users page to assign security roles to users. Refer to Assign Users to Security Roles for more information.

Description

Resend User Creation Email

Click to resend the new user creation email for the selected user. This happens for a new user who has not logged in to the system or an existing user who has logged in to the system. The email contains the user name and a temporary password.

NOTE: The Resend User Creation Email icon is disabled for users with security set through Windows Authentication.

User ID

Displays ID associated with the user used to log in to the Stewardship Tier.

Name

Displays name of the user associated with the User ID.

Security Information

Password

Displays encrypted password used with the User ID to log in to the Stewardship Tier.

Password Last Changed

Displays the date the user’s password was last changed.

Windows User Name

Displays the login name used for Microsoft Windows to log in to the Stewardship Tier. This field is used if Integrated Authentication is enabled to validate against the Windows domain.

Expiration Date

Displays date when the user’s access to the Stewardship Tier will be terminated. If blank, the user’s access will not expire.

The date format is determined by the user’s Locale. For example, if a user’s Locale is English, the date format is MMDDYYYY. Refer to Detect Locales for more information.

Anonymous

If checked, the user is an anonymous user. An anonymous user does not log in to the Stewardship Tier; but is navigated directly to a specific Stewardship Tier page via a workflow link.

Last Successful Login

Displays the last successful login for the selected user.

Defaults

Language ID

Displays language used for the user.

Default Page ID

Displays page that opens when the user first logs in to the Stewardship Tier. The default value is the Stewardship Tier Site page.

Style ID

Displays style used within the Stewardship Tier for the logged in user. The style controls colors, fonts, etc. of the user interface. Administrators can create new styles under Admin > Configuration > Style > Styles.

Contact Information

Telephone

Displays user’s telephone number.

Telephone Extension

Displays user’s telephone extension.

Email Address

Displays user’s email address. This email address is used for all workflow notifications.

Format Options

Locale ID

Displays the locale used to translate date and number formats for the user.

Logs

View History

Click to open the User History Log page, to view the user’s system logs related to authentication, property changes and access changes.
