Configure List Box Values

List Box Values are lookup values that drive the list box options for many pages in ADM.  Console is delivered with a list of Stewardship Tier-supplied lists and values.

A user can also create custom lists and values that can be used in Construct and in custom components.

NOTE: Lists that are supplied by the Stewardship Tier cannot be deleted, and the list name (displayed in LIST on the List Value Configuration page) cannot be edited. However, the list description can be edited.

NOTE: Values supplied by the Stewardship Tier can be edited but not deleted.

To view, configure and List Box Values for a Stewardship Tier-supplied list:

  1. Select Advanced Configuration > List Value Configuration from the Navigation pane.
  2. Locate the list box name in LIST.
  3. Click the Values icon.

  4. Click Edit for a value to update it.

     OR

    Click Add on Page toolbar to add a new list box value.

  5. Enter text in the VALUE field.

    NOTE: This value displays in the list box.

  6. Enter text in the DESCRIPTION field.
  7. Click Save.

To add a custom list box and associated values for use in custom components:

  1. Select Advanced Configuration > List Value Configuration from the Navigation pane.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter a list name in the LIST field.

    NOTE: The list value is the field name for the list box.

  4. Enter a brief description in the DESCRIPTION field, if needed. 
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click the Values icon.

  7. Click Add.

  8. Enter the list box value in the Value field.

    NOTE: This value displays in list box.

  9. Enter a description in the DESCRIPTION field.
  10. Click Save.
