Where Used Report

To access this page:

  1. Select Master Data Management > Design in the Navigation pane.

  2. Click the Task icon OR the Role icon OR the Scenario icon for a category.

  3. Click Vertical View for a task, role or scenario.

  4. Click the Where Used Report icon.

Field

Description

CATEGORY

Displays the name of the category that contains the selected element (scenario, role or task).

BUSINESS PROCESS

Displays the name of the business process associated with the selected scenario, role or task.

BP STATUS

Displays the status of the business process.

Values are:

  • In Design—Business Process is being changed.

  • Design Complete—Business Process changes are complete but have not been approved.

  • Pending Approval—Business Process changes are awaiting approval.

  • Design Rejected—Business Process changes have been rejected. 

  • Design Approved—Business Process changes have been completed and have been approved.

  • Published—Business Process changes have been approved, and the business process is available for use.

BP ACTIVE

If checked, the business process is active.

If unchecked, the business process is not active.

SCENARIO

Displays the scenario name.

SCENARIO STATUS

Displays the status of the scenario.

Values are:

  • In Design—Scenario is being changed.

  • Design Complete—Scenario changes are complete but have not been approved.

  • Pending Approval—Scenario changes are awaiting approval.

  • Design Rejected—Scenario changes have been rejected. 

  • Design Approved—Scenario changes have been completed and have been approved.

  • Published—Scenario changes have been approved, and the scenario is available for use.

SCENARIO ACTIVE

If checked, the scenario is used in the record’s business process. If unchecked, the scenario is not used in the business process.

ROLE

Displays the role name.

ROLE TYPE

Displays the role type.

A role’s role type determines which actions a user assigned to that role can perform.

Role types are:

  • Application—Gathers, enters and makes changes to data using pages in the Content WebApp for preparation to send to the system(s) of record.

  • Display—Views data but is unable to make changes. Users assigned to a role with a Display role type are not active participants in the process.

  • Post—Posts data to a target system after the roles with Application and Review role types have been completed.

  • ManualPost—Performs work outside of MDM by using a custom posting process or performing a physical task. Refer to Use Manual Post for more information.

  • Review—Evaluates and reviews data, either approving or rejecting all changes made within the execution of a request. Data can be viewed but not modified. A role with this role type can also review the tasks of their dependent application roles within a scenario.

ROLE ACTIVE IN SCENARIO

If checked, the role is active in the scenario. 

If unchecked, the role is not active in the scenario.

TASK

Displays the task name.
