Map a Project User Name to a User Name in the Stewardship Tier

If an MS Project plan has resource names assigned to tasks that do not exactly match the corresponding user IDs in the Stewardship Tier, the Resource Synonym page can be used to map the resource names to the Stewardship Tier user IDs.

To map a resource name to a Stewardship Tier user ID:

1. Click Project in the Navigation pane.
2. Click Plans for a project.
3. Click Vertical View.
4. Click the Security tab.

5. Click Resource Synonyms.

   NOTE: If no records exist, the page displays in add mode. Otherwise, click Add.

   View the field descriptions for the Resource Synonym page.

6. Select the Stewardship Tier user ID from the USER ID list box.
7. Enter the resource name of the user to map to the Stewardship Tier user ID in the Resource field.
8. Click Save.
