Wave Data Source Collation

To access this page:

  1. Select Advanced Data Migration in the Navigation pane, or select Console in the Context bar.
  2. Click Waves in the Navigation pane.

  3. Click Vertical View for the wave.

  4. Click the Waves Data Sources icon on the Page toolbar.

Field

Description

WAVE ID

Displays the name of the wave.

DATA SOURCE ID

Displays the data source associated with the wave. Click the link to navigate to the Data Source Registry page to change the Collation Type for the wave.

DS COLLATION TYPE

Displays the collation type (i.e., case sensitive or case insensitive) of the data source. Options are:

  • General Latin Case-insensitive

  • General Latin Case-sensitive

By default, data sources have a case-insensitive Collation Type.

DS Not Synchronized

Displays an indicator if the data source has not been synchronized to the DSPCommon Data Source Registry table. The delivered dgSAP data source is not synchronized to the DSPCommon Data Source Registry table, so it is recommended that this data source is not used in projects.

NOTE: This field only displays if the Collation Type on the Waves Vertical View page is set to General Latin Case-insensitive.

Collation Mismatch

Displays an indicator if the data source has a different Collation Type than the assigned wave.

Column Mismatch

Click to open the Wave Data Source Column Collation Mismatch page to view details of all the table columns that have a mismatch.

The icon displays the number of table columns in the database associated with the data source that have a Collation Type different from the data source. Refer to View Column Collation Mismatch for more information.

Collation Conflict

Displays an indicator if the data source is used in multiple waves that have conflicting collation. Refer to Change Collation for a Wave for more information.
