Enable Navigation Tasks

Instead of using Application task types as the buttons on the Request Role Task page, Designers can define tasks using a parameter that configures the buttons on the Request Role Task page to be limited to Navigation tasks. After setting the parameter, users can indicate which tasks are Navigation tasks on the Scenario Role Task page.

To enable Navigation tasks:

  1. Select Configuration > Setup > Parameters in the Navigation pane.

  2. Hover your cursor over the Navigation Task icon.

    NOTE: The status of enabled or disabled displays.

  3. Click the icon as needed to enable the setting.

Once the Navigation task parameter is enabled, to set the Navigation tasks:

  1. Select Category in the Navigation pane.

  2. Click the Scenarios icon for a category.

  3. Click the Roles icon for a scenario.

  4. Click the Tasks icon for a role.

  5. Check the NAVIGATION TASK check box for the tasks that should display as buttons on the Request Role Task page.
