Package Groups - Approval (History)

Use this page to View Approval History.

To access this page:

  1. Click Packages in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Approval History icon for a Package Group.

Field

Description

GROUP ID

Displays the package group that was approved or rejected.

ADDED BY

Displays the name of the user that requested approval.

ADDED ON

Displays the date when the request was marked as completed, i.e., the Mark Completed icon was clicked on the Package Group - Approval page.

DEFECT ID

Displays the ticket number associated with request.

TESTING COMPLETED IN DEV

If checked, the package group has been tested in a development environment.

If unchecked, the package group has not been tested in a development environment yet.

NOTE: This field is manually updated by an approver and must be checked before the Package Group can be approved.

APPROVAL STATUS

Displays the status of the package approval. Options are:

  • Awaiting Approval—approvers have been notified that there is a package group approval request pending. The package group cannot be transported until the request is approved.

  • Approved—the package group request has been approved and is available to be transported.

  • Rejected—the package group request has been rejected. The user must work with the approver to fix the package group and resubmit for approval.

REJECT NOTES

Displays any notes the approver made explaining why the package group was rejected.

DATA

Click to open the Package - Structure History page to view details of the data records that have been transported. The count on the link is the total number of records that have been transported.

NOTE: An approved request can have multiple transports for the same record within a package.

OBJECTS

Click to open the Package - Object History page to view SQL objects that have been transported. The count on the link is the total number of SQL objects that have been transported.

NOTE: An approved request can have multiple transports for the same SQL Object within a package.
