NOTE: This page only displays in the Content WebApp when it has been configured. Refer to Auto-generate Request-related Objects for more information.

Mass Change V

Use this page to Mass Change Data in MDM.

To access this page in the Content WebApp:

  1. Select Requests on the Navigation pane.

  2. Click the Roles icon for a request.

  3. Click the Tasks icon for the Application task that performs the data entry.

  4. Click the button in the TASK ID column for the mass change task.

  5. Click the Mass Change icon in the Page toolbar.

Field

Description

REQUEST ID

Displays the request ID for the mass change request, taken from the page used to access the current page. 

PAGE ID

Displays the page ID for the mass change request page, taken from the page used to access the current page. 

COLUMN NAME

Displays column name being updated in the target ERP system.

CONSTANT

Enter mass change value being updated in the Column Name.

Build Where Clause

Click to open the Mass Change Where Clause page to create a where clause that filters the data being updated

Create Where Clause

Click to create the Where clause built either manually or using the Where Clause Builder.

WHERE CLAUSE

Displays a Where clause that filters the data being updated. The field is protected on the Horizontal View; it can be edited on the Vertical View.

View Data

Click to view a report of the data being changed with the old and new values. Data is pulled from the view for this request and is limited if a Where Clause has been applied. This icon is only available until the request is posted.

Execute

Click to run the mass change process. This process applies the Constant to all rows for the selected Column Name on the data entry page. This icon is active when the other values on the page have been entered and saved.

USER ID

Displays the ID of the user who made the change.

Field

Description

Request ID

Displays the request ID for the mass change request, taken from the page used to access the current page. 

Column Name

Displays column name being updated in the target ERP system.

Constant

Displays the value being replaced for Column Name in the target ERP system.

Where Clause

Displays a Where clause that filters the data being updated.

Change User ID

Displays the name of the user who created the Where clause.
