Reset a Request
A Role Processor may reset the request’s status back to In Progress from Posted or from Posted with Errors. The data and review roles are reset and data in the request is editable. The Reset Request button is hidden until the request shows status of either Posted or Posted with Errors.
Not every posting process supports an attempted reposting with updated data. For instance, within the Create and Business Extend and Org Extend scenarios, you may not be able to repost the data because the scenario sets a portion of BAPI fields to indicate the posting is an insert not an update. A simple BDC that updates field values may be reposted to run again or a BAPI that only updates the fields may repost to run again.
To reset a request:

Select Master Data Management > Requests in the Navigation pane.

Click the Roles icon for a request.

Click Reset Request.
