Target Object Import: Database

Use this page to Import Target Design from a Database.

To access this page:

  1. Select Advanced Data Migration in the Navigation pane.
  2. Select Design in the Context bar.
  3. Click Target Import in the Navigation pane.
  4. Click the Database Importicon.

Field

Description

DATA SOURCE ID

Displays the name of the data source that relates to the tables to import.

These data sources are registered in Common and have the data source type of SQLServer. Refer to Register a Data Source in Common for more information.

DATABASE

Displays the name of the database that contains tables that can be used to import a Target design.

The design of a Target can be imported from one or multiple tables in a database.

Import

Click to open the Database Import page to select the tables to import.
