Request Role Task

Use this page while rejecting a request.

To access this page:

  1. Select Master Data Management >Requests in the Navigation pane.
  2. Click the Roles icon for a request.
  3. Click the Tasks icon for a Review role.

Field

Description

Finish Reject

Click this button as the final step when finalizing a rejection. The request is not rejected until this button is clicked.

NOTE: This button is only visible to Review roles.

REQUEST ID

Displays the unique ID generated for the request when it was created in the Content WebApp.

TASK ID

Displays a button for each task associated with the role selected on the Request Role page.

When a user clicks a button for a task, the action performed on the page that displays is based on the role type selected on the Request Role page.

If the role is an Application role, a user enters or updates data on the page that displays.

If the role is a Review role, a user reviews changes to data on the page to determine whether to approve or reject the request.

If the role is a Post role, the user posts data to the target system.

REJECT

If enabled the task is rejected.

If disabled, the task is under review.

REJECTION REASON HISTORY

Displays the reason the Review role rejected the task. A reject reason must be entered when rejecting a task.

If the request has been rejected multiple times, each reject reason and the role that was rejected displays in this field as a running log of previous rejections.

NOTE: This field only displays for Review role types.

Review Changes

Click to open the Review Role Audit Details page to view audit information. Details about the request role task include the table and column that was audited, the data prior to update and the updated data.

NOTE: The icon is only active when a request is assigned to the Review role.

Roles

Click to open the Request Review Task Roles page to mark a task as rejected and enter a reject reason.

NOTE: This icon only displays for Review roles.

Column Search

Click to open the Enabled Columns by Application Role page to search for columns in the request and the roles that can access them.

The count on this icon represents the number of enabled columns on the request.
